Philadelphia, the cradle of liberty and the birthplace of American democracy, is one of the most historically significant American cities. Walk down the same cobble-stone streets as Benjamin Franklin where he pondered and experimented with the mysteries of electricity. Don’t miss a visit to Independence Hall, the building that housed the debates and eventual adoption of both the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution. Afterward, walk over to the Liberty Bell, the iconic symbol of American independence. Enjoy the city’s rich culture and art scene-Philadelphia showcases more outdoor sculptures and murals than any other American city. Known around the world for its unique cuisine, be sure to try the emblematic cheesesteak and soft pretzels.
