ESA-announce University of Essex course on zTree programming and experiment design, 23-25 April
We are pleased to announce a 3 day course on zTree programming and experimental design, to be held at the University of Essex on 23-25 April.
The course teacher will be Dr Wolfgang Luhan. Dr Luhan is Assistant Professor of economics at the Ruhr-University Bochum’s Economics department and Director of the Bochum Lab for Experimental Economics (RUBex). His research focus lies on behavioural (macro) economics, bargaining situations and markets. He has been doing experimental research since 2004 and has taught numerous classes on experimental research methods, including a course at the ECPR Summer School in Ljubljana.
The course will be held on the university campus, with a mixture of lectures, computer sessions and a session on running experiments in the new ESSEXLab social science laboratory. Each day includes 2 x 3 hour sessions. Course details are attached.
Course fees will be:
– Essex students and staff £200
– External academics £300
– External non-academics £400
