ESA-announce Positions at Texas A&M
I’m happy to announce that the Texas A&M Department of Economics is seeking to fill five new positions at the rank of Assistant Professor, including one position in the area of experimental and behavioral economics. Texas A&M has a state-of-the-art experimental laboratory and a new program in Behavioral Public Policy. Texas A&M has a long history in the field of experimental economics, and has supported an experiment lab since the 1970s.
For the experimental position, we are particularly interested in scholars at the Assistant Professor rank with a few years of experience and an established record of outstanding research. We are likely to interview promising candidates in fall, prior to the ASSA meetings. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch.
Details on the positions can be found in the September Job Openings for Economists. The department also is searching in the areas of econometrics, empirical industrial organization, macroeconomics, and microeconomic theory. For the theory position, we have a particular interest in market design. Applications should be submitted at https://www.econjobmarket.org/
