Greetings!
The International Atlantic Economic Society invites you to submit original research manuscripts to the Atlantic Economic Journal, a peer reviewed professional journal established in 1973.
The AEJ has a tradition of excellence in publishing research from the world’s most respected economists,  such as Nobel laureates as well as less well known researchers, that is over four decades long.

About the Journal

The AEJ emphasizes freedom of opportunity to research and discuss global economic issues that impact populations worldwide. Policy-oriented, theoretical, and empirical research papers in all economic and financial areas are welcome, without regard to methodological preference, school of thought, or political point of view.

Expedited Review

The Atlantic Economic Journal is proud to announce its  expedited review (ER) program, which grants your manuscript special attention and guarantees a quick response.  If you choose this option, you will no longer spend 6-12 months waiting for a decision on your submission.

Notice of the first level of review is made within 30 days of submission.  The paper is then rushed to the second level of review, with a final decision made within the next 60 days.

The deadline for expeditious review submission is January 31, 2014.

Benefits of Publishing in the AEJ

  • Full double-blind peer review: All manuscripts submitted to our journals undergo anonymous peer review by hand-selected members of our board of editors and ad-hoc reviewers. Comments are constructively offered to help authors refine and improve their research.
  • Anthologies: As well as full manuscripts, authors have the opportunity to publish brief notes that
may not be worthy of a formal paper but are important enough to warrant dissemination to colleagues.
  • Fast Review Process: Every effort is made to ensure rapid turn around of high quality reviews. Full manuscripts are typically reviewed in three to four months while research notes are usually reviewed in one.
  • Expedited Review Process: Authors have the option of selecting an expedited review process, which insures that notice of the first level of review is made within 30 days of submission.  The paper is then rushed to the second level of review, with a final decision made within the next 60 days.
  • Low prices and member discounts: Submission and publication fees are deeply discounted for members of the IAES. Click here  for more information.
