ESA-announce ESA sessions at 2014 SEA meetings in Atlanta, Nov. 22-24 – submission deadline April 21st
The 84th annual conference of the Southern Economic Association will be held at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia, on November 22-24 (Saturday-Monday), 2014. The link to the conference website is:
The conference this year should be an exciting one for researchers working in experimental economics. Doug Davis is President-Elect of the SEA, John List is scheduled to give the Distinguished Guest Lecture, and Lise Vesterlund is scheduled to give the Association Lecture.
I invite everyone interested in presenting a paper to send me a title plus the following information for each author:
Please email your submission to me at artie.zillante(at)uncc.edu by MONDAY, APRIL 21st.
We have been running sessions at the SEA meetings without discussants for three years now. In general this has worked well so I am going to continue with a default setting of no discussants.
As a reminder, all participants are expected to pay standard conference registration fees, although the paper submission fee is waived for the ESA sessions.
For those of you who have never attended the SEA meetings, typically there are a large number of experimental sessions on the program and the meetings are normally well attended.
I look forward to seeing you in Atlanta in November for what promises to be another successful conference.
