Applied Macroeconomics Conference, Henan University, Kaifeng, China, March 18-19, 2015
This is a reminder of an interesting conference. On March 18th and 19th 2015 the School of Economics of Henan University (HenU) and the International Network for Economic Research (INFER) will hold its 1st Joint Workshop on Applied Macroeconomics at Kaifeng, Henan Province.
Papers that are selected for presentation will receive complimentary lodging at a five-star hotel in Kaifeng. For more details, please refer to the attached call-for-papers.
For those that not familiar with Henan University, it is the flagship university of Henan Province, which is one of the most populous provinces in China (with a population exceeding 100 million). The city Kaifeng is an ancient capital of China, the seat of the North Song Dynasty, when China experienced a surge of technological advancements. Historical and cultural site are in abundance, and is a day trip away from Luoyang (an even more famous ancient capital,), Ying ruins (dating back to 11 or 12 century B.C.), and the famous Shoaling Temple, just to name a few.
We sincerely welcome your participation in this historical workshop as we work together to understand the cause of the Great Recession and strive to make sure it does not happen again.
If you are interested in participating, please submit your abstract/paper directly to the Conference (see the attached call-for-paper). In addition, please drop me a line as “heads-up”. I am on the Scientific Committee, and will hence keep an eye out for your submission.
