6th Thurgau Experimental Economics Meeting (theem)

*The Formation and Elicitation of Beliefs*

April 23-25, 2015, in Kreuzlingen (CH)

Keynote speakers: Andrew Schotter and Martin Dufwenberg.

Beliefs are a crucial factor in game theory but we know rather little
about their role in the actual decision-making process. One reason for
this lack of knowledge is the difficulty to elicit beliefs accurately.
Moreover, beliefs are not static. New information and (additional)
deliberation can change them. For this workshop we invite experimental
and theoretical contributions that focus on the formation and impact of
beliefs in social interactions. We explicitly welcome methodological
studies on how to elicit beliefs in the laboratory.

Submission of paper/extended abstract on www.theem.ch: January 30, 2015
Notification of acceptance: February 23, 2015
Conference fee: CHF 200 (includes coffee breaks & conference dinner)

Please forward this call for papers to other researchers who might have
an interest in the topic. You find more information on www.theem.ch. For
any further question please contact us via info.
