ESA-announce 3rd PhD Workshop Experimental Development Economics: Lab in the Field
Applications are now open for 3rd PhD Workshop Experimental Development Economics: Lab in the Field, on 25 April in London, organised by CBESS @ UEA and The Choice Lab @ NHH
The workshop is for current and prospective PhD students who are using or planning to use lab-in-the field experiments in developing countries. This year’s workshop focuses on risk. Presentations by expert academics discuss the why and how of lab-in-the field experiments for understanding people’s risky choice behaviour. There will also be an opportunity for selected students to present and receive feedback on their work, focusing on risk or other topics. There is no registration fee for the workshop.
You can register for the workshop by sending an e-mail to Leanne.rhodes mentioning “Registration for lab-in-the field workshop” and containing your name, university, year of study and research topic. Please indicate whether you would like to present your work. In that case you also need to include an extended abstract of your research containing a description of the research question and lab-in-field experiment you (intend to) use. Early registration is strongly recommended.
The workshop is a joint initiative of the Centre for Behavioural and Experimental Social Sciences (CBESS) at the University of East Anglia (UEA) and The Choice Lab at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), two leading centers in this area, and will have the following programme:
