Dear all,

UiT The Arctic University of Norway has established «The Arctic MSCA-IF program» to select excellent young researchers planning to submit applications for a Marie Sklodowska Curie individual fellowship (MSCA-IF) (uit.no/afu/arcticmsca). We invite applications from promising young researchers within the field of Behavioral Economics and Psychology. The selected candidate will write a proposal for a 24-month MSCA-IF, linked to the White heat project, at UiT together with Dr. Andrea Mannberg. The aim of the White Heat project is to analyze the mechanisms behind voluntary exposure to high risk. The project builds on previous findings, in economics and psychology, on the role of bounded rationality due to cognitive limitations, social and affective factors in risk perception and risk exposure. The focus of the project is on risk-taking behavior and exposure in avalanche terrain. The White Heat project is an international cross-disciplinary four-year project funded by the Norwegian Research Council. This is an opportunity to accelerate your research career while living in the urban research city of Tromsø, uniquely located at the top of the world surrounded by some of Europe’s last pristine wild nature.

If you are interested in participating in the program, or know of someone who might be interested, please follow or forward this link: https://euraxess.ec.europa.eu/jobs/266958.

Best wishes,

Andrea Mannberg
