Posted on 2018/07/06. Filed under: 綜合 |

Apologies for the multiple emails. This is the final reminder that the submission deadline for the ESA North American Conference in Antigua Guatemala closes at COB Friday, July 6. (This is also the submission deadline for the pre-conference workshop on Choice Process Data).

This is just a reminder that deadline for submissions to present at the North American ESA Conference in Antigua Guatemala is coming up (July 1; submission instructions down below).

We will have an excellent program starting with the preceding NSF-funded Workshop on ChoiceProcess Data in Experimental Economics, organized by Ian Krajbich (The Ohio State University) and Charles Noussair (University of Arizona). Our list of speakers is first class: Keynote speakers for the Conference (Juan Camilo Cardenas, Universidad de los Andes and Marie Claire Villeval, CNRS, GATE – University of Lyon, and IZA); Invited speakers for the workshop (Giorgio Coricelli, University of Southern California, Susann Fiedler, Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods, Nicolette Sullivan, Duke University and Eric J. Johnson, Columbia).

The social program will also be outstanding: In addition to the traditional welcome reception (on the late afternoon of October 18th), we will have a conference dinner (by . All of this in the tiny city of Antigua Guatemala: one of the most beautiful and best-preserved colonial cities in the Americas and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

(For those who are budget constrained, keep in mind that Antigua offers a wide variety of options for dining and accommodations that can satisfy any budget; check out a list of hotel options. And for those who are parents, we are working to find affordable childcare options in Antigua so that you may enjoy the conference and the city.)

Submissions instructions
To submit an abstract, please REBEL with the subject line "ESA paper submission – LastName").

Please keep in mind that in order to submit an abstract, you have to be a registered paid member of the Economic Science Association (ESA). To register and become a paid member, click here and complete the relevant information.

If you want your submission to be considered for the Workshop on Choice-Process Data, please make sure you indicate your interest using the button at the bottom of the talk submission form. If it is not accepted for the workshop, it will still be considered for the main ESA Conference.

(If you are interested in presenting or attending the pre-conference workshop, please make sure to put the ‘free’ workshop in your shopping cart when registering and paying).

On a final and separate note, some of you may have heard about the Volcano eruption in Guatemala. Although tragic for the communities on the outskirts of the volcano, it should be noted that this does not represent any danger for the population and visitors of Antigua. International events in Antigua are ongoing without interruption or concern, and tourism activities are taking place as usual.

We look forward to seeing you all in Antigua!

On behalf of the organizing committee,

Diego Aycinena
