東吳大學會計學系與中華會計教育學會將於2013年10月24、25日假東吳大學城中校區共同舉辦「2013會計理論與實務研討會」。本次研討會將邀請國際知名會計學者Professor Dan Simunic 及Professor Elijabeth Gorden 來臺專題演講,並配合多場實務座談會及學術論文研討等議程進行多方探討,希望藉由本次研討會,聚集國內外學者專家相互研討砌磋,提出彼此的心得及具體可行的建議,俾供各界參考。

The 4th Asia-Pacific Innovation Conference

College of Social Sciences, National Taiwan University is pleased to host the 4thAsia-Pacific Innovation Conference, in collaboration with a consortium of other academic institutions, including College of Law, National Taiwan University, College of Management, National Taiwan University, School of Management, National Central University, and Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica.

The conference will bring together scholars, including doctoral students, working on economics, management and law of innovation. It will foster an inter-disciplinary exchange of knowledge. Sessions will include contributed papers, keynote presentations and panel discussions. Please forward this information to any interested colleagues, friends, and doctoral students. We welcome contributions from across the world.

Submission Details

We invite interested authors to submit your papers or extended abstracts by June 24, 2013. You can submit your paper online via our Online Submission Form. Submission Inquiry: info.

Please indicate the name of the presenter and his/her contact details (affiliation and email). You may also submit a proposal for a full session, which should include a short description of the session theme, title, 3 papers (or extended abstracts) and the name of the organizer and contact details. While we will consider accepting any theme significantly related to innovation, we prefer sessions with the presenters covering regional or global issues.

Submissions must be in PDF format, with a maximum size of 2MB per paper. No other file formats will be considered. Submissions must be made in English.

The Scientific Committee for the conference will evaluate the submissions and the results will be emailed by the end of July, 2013.

Registration

The registration website for the conference will open in the near future, with information on hotels. The expected conference fee covering conference registration, lunches, drinks, and the conference dinner will be 200 Australian dollars per participant. A student whose paper has been accepted is eligible for a discounted registration fee (expected to be 100 Australian dollars per participant). The registration fee is not refundable.

The 1st Asia Pacific Region Innovation Conference was held in University of Melbourne in January 2010. The cover page should include the affiliation, address, phone and email of each author and the appropriate JEL classifications. There is an option that the participant can serve  as a discussant of a paper of his/her own area of interest and certificate will be issued to such participant.

You are also welcome to volunteer toparticipate as discussants, session chairs, reviewers and members of theprogram committee. You are invited to attend the conference, even if you choose not to present a paper.

Please email by 3 August 2012 two copies of your completed paper: one copy without any information about the author (for blind review) and the other copy with all information of the authors such as the affiliation, address, phone and email of corresponding author. Review outcome will be notified by 3 September and an acceptance letter will be issued to the corresponding author. If you need earlier notification for meet the funding deadline of your university, please let us know at the time manuscript submission.

BENEFITS AND PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITY

Registration fee includes a copy of the print journal containing your paper (if accepted for special issue) and free fellowship/ associate fellowship of World Business Institute. It also includes day-long feedings such as two break foods and buffet lunch for two days. The proceedings will include all papers not considered by our journals as well as abstracts only of the papers accepted for publication in our journals. You are also welcome to volunteer to participate as discussants, session chairs, reviewers and members of the program committee. You are invited to attend the conference, even if you choose not to present a paper.  An author can present only one paper.

經濟部中小企業處為提升國內財會領域人員素質,並推動中小企業財務人才認證制度,委請財團法人台灣中小企業聯合輔導基金會執行「101年度創新型中小企業財會資訊應用發展-人才培育產學合作計畫」,藉以建立學校與產業界對話之管道,共同培育學生財務技能,提升就業競爭力,以促進產學交流合作。

本計畫由經濟部中小企業處補助8成辦理「中小企業財務人員種子師資班」以及「中小企業財務人員培育專班」,讓具財務人員種子師資資格的教師,教導參加財務人員培育專班學生財會專業技能,並協助其取得財務人員認證證書,對於提升國內財會人才素質及間接影響經濟體質具有正面效益。

商管科技季刊徵稿

本刊屬學術性刊物,旨在提供商學及管理領域研究成果發表園地、促進學術交流、分享相關領域的研究成果與提升研究水準。自民國89年3月出版第一卷第1期至101年3月出版第十三卷第1期,共出版49期。

台灣在生產力成長與效率衡量之學術研究日盛,研究範圍廣及經濟、會計、管理、財金、教育、醫療、農業、環境、資源、運輸、公共行政及工業工程等相關學門,研究成果相當豐碩。自1997年起,我們台灣曾主辦7次效率與生產力成長國際會議與演講系列,以及多次國內會議,每次均邀請到最頂尖之國際專家學者來台與會,並與國內學者們交換研究心得。會議文章經正式審查後亦多次出版專書或專刊於著名學術期刊,包括:Journal of Productivity Analysis、經濟論文、經濟論文叢刊、應用經濟論叢。

2012年的學術研討會將邀請生產力著名學者包括C.A. Knox Lovell, Cliff Huang, Joe Zhu, Karou Tone及Finn Forsund等,於7月20日發表專題演講。7月19日則將由這些國際學者於東吳大學商學院進行系列演講,教授高階之分析方法及其應用。

今年之會議主題為「經營風險與服務業生產效率」,包括私部門服務業(金融、證券、銀行、營利及非營利性組織)及公共服務部門之生產力與效率研究。不過我們亦歡迎各種與生產力成長或生產效率相關之理論性與實證性論文。會議論文中英文發表皆可,若以英文發表則可獲得國際學者之評論。會議論文則將仿例考慮在國內著名TSSCI期刊「管理與系統」出刊。歡迎國內專家學者投稿並與會。
