CSIE 2011 intends to be a global forum for researchers and engineers to present and discuss recent advances and new techniques in computer science and information engineering. 教育部智慧生活整合性人才培育計畫

99年度「第一屆智慧生活種子師資培訓營」

一、 緣起

面對無所不在(ubiquitous)網路通訊時代的來臨、高齡化與少子化等社會結構劇烈的轉變、以及地球暖化、減碳、減廢等環保議題的興起,在此高度全球化的社經環境轉變中,我國希望透過發展「智慧生活(Smart Living)」的概念,運用與整合跨領域之科學技術與人文素養,以回應上述全球社會經濟與環境發展的複雜議題。

「智慧生活」揭櫫的乃是一新知識體系及其新興相關產業鏈的形成,其願景則是在提昇整體國人生活與生存環境品質、健康水平與社會文化福利。在這個願景的趨動下,教育部顧問室於98年7月,委託國立臺灣大學吳政忠教授主持,邀集國內產學研各界專家學者,著手進行「智慧生活整合性人才培育計畫」的先期規劃。計畫預定於100年全面推動,計畫推動辦公室已於今(99)年7月成立,並已著手布建未來計畫全面推動時所需的各項基礎。

發展新興領域當有新興思維,教育部「智慧生活整合性人才培育計畫」擬先由舉辦教師研習營,培育種子師資開始,盼能透過種子師資培訓營,將國內智慧生活教育資源與能量做初步整合,以整備我國智慧生活領域教學能量,並促進相關領域教師進行跨領域合作,催生智慧生活領域之各類專業課程。

二、 活動目的

本培訓營的主要目的在於凝聚國內教育界與社會相關領域專家對智慧生活人才培育之精神綱領與共識,並且媒合不同專業背景之大專院校教師交流合作,促其設計與開發智慧生活跨領域創新課程,冀望這些種子教師回到各自校院系所後能夠作為智慧生活整合性人才培育的基樁,在高等教育系統中引領與提攜青年學子,使未來智慧生活創意人才與產業能夠在台灣遍地開花。

八、報名方式

「第一屆智慧生活種子師資培訓營」竭誠歡迎所有對培育智慧生活人才的老師熱情參與,然因資源所限,僅能提供有限名額。因此,本次活動,將請各校教務長推薦參與教師,以校為單位報名。

2. 由於培訓營第2天「生活工作坊」為小組活動,為期小組成員背景多元化,以激盪出更多精彩的想法與對話。請各校推薦報名參加培訓營的教師,至少包含兩個性質迥異的學院(如人文社會及工程科技領域)。

3. 教育部智慧生活整合性人才培育計畫將於100年開始全面推動,未來將推動補助全國大學校院結合服務學習、通識、專業、實作與產業實習課程的雙層三明治式課(學)程推廣計畫。本研習課程有助於各校對雙層三明治式課(學)程的瞭解,惠請推薦對智慧生活(永續智慧生活空間、智慧健康醫療照護、文化導向生活科技)富有教學熱誠的老師報名參與。

4. 本次活動名額有限,承辦單位將依本活動之宗旨,先行考量「曾開設跨領域課程」或「從事智慧生活領域相關研究」之教師,其次再依各校報名先後順序安排學員。

海外學友會推薦扶輪米山獎學金-訪問研究員

海外學友會推薦扶輪米山獎學金於2011年7月至2012年6月間,提供居住於台灣,且於大學、研究機關內工作之專職資深研究人員研究獎助學金,給予其於日本的大學、研究機關內,為期一年進行研究活動的機會。

海外學友會推薦扶輪米山獎學金希望提供外國研究者在日本大學、研究機關內和當地研究者一起進行研究活動的機會,一方面幫助其研究工作的推展,一方面透過其和所屬扶輪社(ROTARY CLUB)的互動,來達到扶輪社促進國際了解和親善的目的。

日本米山特別獎助金在台灣的徵選及考核事項由中華民國扶輪米山會(註)所組成的扶輪米山獎學金甄選委員會負責。

註:中華民國扶輪米山會是由曾經領取日本米山獎學金的台灣留學生回台後所組織的社團法人。

1.候選資格

(1)具備中華民國籍(不可為雙重國籍【含日本籍】)

(2)不特別限制研究範圍。

(3)於台灣的大學內或其他的研究機關工作者,未滿50歲(1961年7月1日後出生者),申請時須已具備博士學位資格。

(4)需具備可使用日常會話的日語能力。

(5)徵選之書面資料請以英文或日文撰寫。(以英文撰寫者,請附上日文摘要翻譯本)

(6)曾赴日留學取得學士、碩士、博士學位者不得申請本獎學金。

2.獎助期間

於2011年度參加甄選而正式獲得獎助者,其獎學金提供期間為2011年7月至2012年6月止為期12個月。

3.所申請的日本學校(機關)需具備之條件

(1)為日本的大學、研究機關,且可出具「入學或研究許可證明」者。

(2)可確定指導老師、共同研究者、及研究計劃者。

(3)可提供研究人員宿舍者,或者學校方面可提供尋找宿舍的協助。

(4)抵達日本後,研究機關或大學方面可有專責單位提供獎學生從機場到學校、宿舍、研究室等方面的介紹及引導。

(5)獎學生在進入日本的各項手續、留日資格認定書申請手續等可由學校或研究機關代為辦理者。若學校或研究機關無法代為處理時,獎學生需在台灣進行申請手續。

4.獎助金內容

(1)獎助金額 14萬日圓(月額)。

(2)旅費 提供來回機票補助款日幣6萬元

(3)宿舍補助 每月最高補助5萬日圓,不超過5萬日圓者則補助實際發生費用。(實際費用/或月額5萬日圓×旅日月數)

(4)保險 在獎學生的研究期間內,由台灣扶輪米山會辦理海外旅行保險,費用由日本米山獎學會支付。

*既有疾病、慢性病、齒科治療不列入保險項目。另外,有關當地的實際治療費用,獎學生請先自行支付實際支出費用,日後再由保險公司根據申請狀況直接支付保險金給研究員。

5.研究員赴日後義務

研究員每人會分配到特定扶輪社和顧問,研究員須每月一次出席所屬扶輪社的例會,加強和扶輪社友的溝通。務必以日語進行溝通及交流。另外,每半年須向中華民國扶輪米山會提出書面研究近況報告。

6.獎學金的支付

獎助學金每月會送至研究員所屬的扶輪社,由研究員出席例會時領取。

研究員赴日本時如超過當月20號,或離開日本時是當月10號之前,則當月獎學金支付一半,若為當月21號赴日本者,則當月的獎學金是7萬元。

7.繳交之書面資料(提出之書面資料請以日語或英語填寫)

(2)個人中文簡歷表(正本一份、影本四份)

( 3 ) 博士學位證書的影印本或博士學位取得證明書(正本一份、影本四份)

(6)在職機關負責人(校長、學系系所主任/所長等)「留學許可書」 如上

(8)健康檢查表(請使用本會提供之表格)

獲得入選通知者才必需繳交。入選者請於入選通知後兩週內向選考委員會

提出(需為三個月內之健康診斷書,但X光檢驗須為一個月內)

(9)照片2張(5cm*3.5cm),一張貼在申請表上,另外一張請於背面寫明姓名,

和申請表一起交出。

Both conferences will be held collocated (at the same time and the same venue) on March 27th – 30th, 2011 in Orlando, Florida, USA

The second set of deadlines for both conferences is the following (check also the web sites for the respective deadlines of the other collocated conferences and for possible new deadlines of ICSIT 2011):

Papers/Abstracts Submissions and Invited Sessions Proposals: December 17th, 2010
Authors Notifications: February 7th, 2011
Camera-ready, full papers: February 22nd, 2011

Technical keynote speakers will be selected from early submissions because this selection requires an additional evaluation according to the quality of the paper, assessed by its reviewers, the authors’ CV and the paper’s topic.

Submissions for *Face-to-Face* or for *Virtual* Participation are both accepted. Both kinds of submissions will have the same reviewing process and the accepted papers will be included in the same proceedings.

All Submitted papers/abstracts will go through three reviewing processes: (1) double-blind (at least three reviewers), (2) non-blind, and (3) participative peer reviews. Authors of accepted papers who registered in the conference can have access to the evaluations and possible feedback provided by the reviewers who recommended the acceptance of their papers/abstracts, so they can accordingly improve the final version of their papers.

Pre-Conference and Post-conference Virtual sessions (via electronic forums) will be held for each session included in the conference program.

Registration fees of an effective invited session organizer will be waived according to the policy described in the web page (click on ‘Invited Session’, then on ‘Benefits for the Organizers of Invited Sessions’).

Authors of the best 10%-20% of the papers presented at the conference (included those virtually presented) will be invited to adapt their papers for their publication in the Journal of Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics.

International Choice Modelling Conference 2011 – call for contributions: reminder

International Choice Modelling Conference 2011 – call for contributions

This is a reminder that the deadline for submitting an abstract for the second International Choice Modelling Conference (ICMC) is approaching fast. Due to a number of requests, the deadline has been extended until 15 December. This will the final deadline. Decisions on abstracts will be communicated by late December. Authors with an accepted abstract will then be invited to submit their full papers for peer review by 28 February 2011.

The conference will be held at Oulton Hall near Leeds in the North of England from 4 July to 6 July 2011. The conference, organised by the Institute for Transport Studies at the University of Leeds, will once again bring together academics and practitioners from the many areas in which choice modelling is a key technique. Following the format of the first International Choice Modelling Conference, the highlight of ICMC 2011 will be keynote presentations by two leading international experts, namely Professor Jordan Louviere from the Centre for the Study of Choice (CenSoC) at the University of Technology, Sydney, and Professor Andrew Daly from ITS and RAND Europe. Professors Louviere and Daly have been at the forefront of the field for over thirty years and have between them been responsible for numerous major advances, both in terms of theoretical developments as well as novel applications.

We invite you to submit a paper/abstract to The SPRING 5th International Conference on Knowledge Generation, Communication and Management: KGCM 2011 (www.2011iiisconferences.org/kgcma), to be held in Orlando, Florida, USA, on March 27th – 30th, 2011 ~ Orlando, Florida USA.

We invite you to submit a paper/abstract to The 9th International Conference on Education and Information Systems, Technologies and Applications: EISTA 2011 (www.2011iiisconferences.org/eista), to be held in Orlando, Florida, USA, on July 19th – July 22nd, 2011

The submissions deadline for this 2nd CFP December 8th, 2010 (Check the web site for possible extensions or new set of deadlines)

Technical keynote speakers will be selected from early submissions because this selection requires an additional evaluation according to the quality of the paper, assessed by its reviewers, the authors’ CV and the paper’s topic.

Submissions for Face-to-Face or for Virtual Participation are both accepted. Both kinds of submissions will have the same three tiers (double-blind, non-blind, and participative) reviewing process.

Papers of Face-to-Face and Virtual participations will be included in the conference printed and CD proceedings. Authors of the best 10%-20% papers related to both kinds of participations will be invited to adapt their papers for their publication in the JSCI Journal (www.iiisci.org/journal/sci/)

International Choice Modelling Conference 2011 – call for contributions

This is a reminder that the second International Choice Modelling Conference (ICMC) will be held at Oulton Hall near Leeds in the North of England from 4 July to 6 July 2011. The conference, organised by the Institute for Transport Studies at the University of Leeds, will once again bring together academics and practitioners from the many areas in which choice modelling is a key technique. Following the format of the first International Choice Modelling Conference, the highlight of ICMC 2011 will be keynote presentations by two leading international experts, namely Professor Jordan Louviere from the Centre for the Study of Choice (CenSoC) at the University of Technology, Sydney, and Professor Andrew Daly from ITS and RAND Europe. Professors Louviere and Daly have been at the forefront of the field for over thirty years and have between them been responsible for numerous major advances, both in terms of theoretical developments as well as novel applications.

This e-mail sets out two opportunities for contributions, submissions for general presentations, and proposals for organising workshops at the conference.

General paper submissions

The conference uses a two stage peer review process. Abstracts (up to 500 words) need to be submitted via the conference website by 30 November 2010 and will be reviewed by the academic committee, with decisions due by late December. Authors with an accepted abstract will then be invited to submit their full papers for peer review by 28 February 2011.

Workshops: call for proposals

One half day of the conference will consist of workshops discussing current issues in the field of choice modelling. Each one of the five workshops will last three hours and will contain two 20 minute presentations by leading experts in the field, with the remainder of the time being left for the actual workshop discussions. Given the cross-cutting spirit of the conference, the two presenters in a given workshop will be from different topic areas. On the third day of the conference, the five workshop chairs will be asked to give brief plenary presentations on the outcome of the workshops. 目的:

為提供國內各界學者專家及相關人員,對於農業經濟問題所做的研究有發表與交流之機會,本學會每年舉辦農業經濟學術研討會。凡探討與國內外農業經濟問題相關之論文,如農業政策、農業金融、農業發展、農產運銷、農產貿易、農業勞動、資源環境、生態經濟、休閒旅遊…等,均歡迎投稿。

徵求對象:

1.本會會員自行投稿(如論文為合著,其中至少需有一位作者為本會會員)。

2.非本會會員欲投稿者,請先入會。

3.單一作者以發表一篇為限。

投稿方式:

1.請將論文大綱之電子檔email至學會信箱(restaiwan)。
