This conference invites oral and poster presentations that contain
computational or financial econometric components. Full papers containing
both a computational and an econometric or financial-econometric component
will be considered for publication in the Annals of Computational and
Financial Econometrics which currently published as as a supplement to
the Computational Statistics & Data Analysis.
Computational and financial econometrics comprise a broad field that
has clearly interested a wide variety of researchers in economics,
finance, statistics, mathematics and computing. Examples include
financial time series analyses that focus on efficient and robust
portfolio allocations over time, asset valuations with emphases on
option pricing, volatility measurements, models of market microstructure
effects and credit risk.
The meeting will take place jointly with the 6th International
Conference of the ERCIM WG on Computational and Methodological
Statistics (ERCIM2013): http://cmstatistics.org/ERCIM2013/

Dear all,
There will be at least 2 Associate Professor positions available at the Burgundy School of Business, Dijon, France, with a recruitement between January and September 2013 : one position in Market Finance, one position in Marketing.
Those positions will not be advertized as adressed to experimentalists or behavioral economists, however, there is at the Burgundy School of Business a young team in experimental economics, the LESSAC laboratory (http://lessac.escdijon.eu/, website in French, but I am available to any questions) and 2 out of 4 last two years recruitements were in Experimental Economics. We are in this laboratory already 3 Associated Professors in Experimental Social Sciences, recruited on Organizational Behavior positions.
The school has a particular interest in experimental economics, as in 2009 we were winners of the Best Award in Pedagogy for implementing experimental techniques in classroom, so I encourage you to apply if your field is related to market finance or consumer behaviour, market strategies, and other topics of interest in marketing (with a special focus on wine, for instance, but the topic is not exclusive).
Our team is a young dynamic team. We are coordinating and are involved in several international et national research programs and we benefit from very pleasant work conditions. Moreover, the LESSAC has a platform of 80 cubicles in the experimental lab.
As an Assistant Professor with important research potential, you usually teach an amount of 60 to 120 hours a year (less than 3 hours a week), benefit from excelent research facilities and incentives, and a very good salary. French is not required as classes you are supposed to teach are in English. Tenure arrives after one year. Also, Dijon is a very pleasant city to live in.
If you are interested, the usual recruitement process requires a CV, a motivation letter in which you can explain the links with the two applied topics, and an interview evaluation on research and teaching by the Council of Directors of the School (this council doesn’t include any experimentalist, but our team can help you to prepare it).
Do not hesitate to send me your applications.
Best,
Angela Sutan
