ESA-announce FINAL CALL FOR PAPERS: ESA European Conference Luxembourg 2011

during the past weeks many email messages indicated that some colleagues have experienced problems with the submission of their
paper to the ESA European Conference Luxembourg. The gate for submission is open for you if you have not yet received an acceptance for presentation of your paper, or if you still want to submit to our conference. We urge you to submit your paper as soon as possible. To submit your paper you must first login to economicscience.org!
Please let me remind you the early registration cut off date is tomorrow. For the reduced conference fee, please make your payment by
July 29. We also recommend early hotel booking.

Dear friends and colleagues,
Registration is now open for this year’s Economic Science Association European Conference Luxembourg 2011. The conference is being hosted by the Luxembourg School of Finance, Université du Luxembourg, and will be held at the lovely Abbaye de Neumünster in the heart of Luxembourg City from September 14th to 17th.
We proudly present our keynote speakers, Charlie Plott (Caltech), John Hey (The University of York), and Matthias Sutter (University of Innsbruck and University of Gothenburg). Besides, the program includes the welcome reception on Wednesday 14th, the conference dinner on Friday 16th, and several parallel sessions.
Registration and submission is handled through the ESA website. Early registration fees are $400/faculty (±€280) and $300/students (±€210). Late registration fees are $500/faculty (±€350) and $400/students (±€280). Fees include the welcome reception, small lunches on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, all coffee and snack breaks, and the conference dinner.
Submit your paper until the 27th of May. Early registration cutoff is the 29th of July.

2011年管理教學個案研討會徵稿啟事
(中山管理評論個案專刊TSSCI)
緣起
鑑於國內商管教育對本土企業個案需求的快速成長，但對於何謂好的企業個案仍有諸多不同的觀點與看法，亟需有專屬企業個案之交流平台。《中山管理評論》特以「台灣在地化教學個案之建置」為主題發行專刊，邀 請對此有興趣的學者，針對社會人文學門既有個案型式，分別為教學型和理論型兩種類型，提出原創性的企業個案，期能對增加企業個案研究 與教學的在地素材作出貢獻。
為能提高專刊的個案品質，以及鼓勵有關社群的形成，本專刊將先徵求個案本文與 教學計畫，再透過研討會的方式，階段性提供作者在個案方向、對話理論、教學設計之意見，俾與作者共同發展出具重要性之個案教學方式。 初選前20名個案將受邀在「2011年管理教學個案研討會」發表，最後獲選的前8名個案將刊登於2012年3月 發行的《中山管理評論個案專刊》（TSSCI）一期。
投稿議題與個案對象
歡迎各管理相關領域之個案，唯個案撰寫之對象必須為台灣當地之企業或各種型式之非營利機構組織。

2011年度供應鏈管理論文獎已開始受理報名
為提昇供應鏈管理之學術水準及相關產業之競爭力，並鼓勵國內各大專院校進行供應鏈相關領域之優質研究，本會特別辦理【供應鏈管理論文獎】活動，獎勵投入供應鏈管理領域研究之碩、博士生，以培育發展更多供應鏈管理之優秀人才，增進產學之交流。
凡全國各大專院校管理學院、商學院及供應鏈管理領域相關院所之碩士、博士應屆(99學年度)與前一屆(98學年度)之畢業生，皆可報名參加；惟同篇論文以參賽一次為限。
（一）優勝獎：碩士組得獎者，可獲頒獎金新台幣貳萬元整，指導教授可獲頒獎金新台幣壹萬元整。博士組得獎者，可獲頒獎金新台幣肆萬元整，指導教授可獲頒獎金新台幣貳萬元整。指導教授為多名者，獎金均分之。
（二）佳作獎：得獎者及其指導教授，於頒獎典禮將獲頒榮譽獎牌乙座及中英文對照獎狀乙紙。
即日起至民國100年6月30日(四)前完成網路報名，並於7月14日(四)前完成繳件(以郵戳為憑)。

ESA-announce Call for applications: RUBEN/CEAR workshop on the behavioural econometrics of risk, uncertainty and time preference
The Research Unit in Behavioural Economics and Neuroeconomics (RUBEN) and the Center for the Economic Analysis of Risk (CEAR) are presenting a 5-day workshop at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, in January 2012. The workshop focusses on the behavioural econometrics of risk, uncertainty and time preference and will be led by Prof. Glenn Harrison. The training is intended for an interdisciplinary participant group and applications are welcomed from all individuals who study risk, uncertainty or time preference. Applicants must be registered postgraduate students, post-doctoral fellows or faculty members at African academic or research institutions. The deadline for applications is 15 July 2011. Please pass this on to anyone who may be interested.

WEA 2011 Annual Conference: Call for Papers (San Diego, California, 6/29-7/3)
Dear Colleagues:
This is a final reminder regarding the Western Economic Association (WEA) 86th Annual Conference, to be held at the beautiful San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina, San Diego, CA 92101 (June 29-July 3, 2011).
Please refer to the attached file for details, and please pass along to friends/colleagues that might be interested.
For those of you that have submitted papers for the 9th Biennial Pacific Rim Conference (April 26-29, 2011, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia), the preliminary program for the CEP sessions were sent out earlier today. Please get back to me regarding corrections and your preference on what paper to discuss.
As in the past, for those in the CEP sessions, all can register at the Member rate ($205) rather than the non-member rate ($275). The student rate is $95. Plus, all papers are eligible to submit to EI or CEP for publication consideration (with full review) with the submission fee waived if submitted within 6 months after the conference.
Once again, if you are interest in presenting in the CEP Invited Sessions at the WEA 86th Annual Conference in san Diego, please send me the relevant information at your earliest convenience.
