The next conference of the French Experimental Economics Association, ASFEE, will be hosted by the University of Montpellier (South of France), from May 31 to June 2, 2012. The conference welcomes presentations covering the following topics : lab experiments, framed and randomized field experiments, behavioral economics, neuro-economics, economic psychology. Theory papers explicitly dealing with experimental issues are also welcome. The conference language is English.
Guest speakers include Werner Güth (Max Planck Institute of Economics, Germany) and Peter Wakker (Erasmus University, Rotterdam, the Netherlands).
Preliminary schedule:

The Amsterdam Center for Law & Economics (ACLE) of the University of Amsterdam is organizing a workshop on Behavioral Competition and Regulation.
Keynote Speakers are:
Botond Köszegi (UC Berkeley) and
Maurice E. Stucke (University of Tenessee).
It will take place on April 20, 2012, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
We welcome submissions from different fields, including experimental economics and behavioral economics. Submissions (full papers or abstracts) can be sent together with the author’s address information to: ACLE(at)uva.nl. The deadline for submissions is March 10, 2012.

| 自18世紀工業革命至今，經濟快速發展的結果對地球產生嚴重的破壞，如空氣、水、土壤污染、臭氧層破壞、溫室效應等等，對自然生態系統造成嚴重衝擊，並且也威脅到人類生存之安全。國際社會為解決此一問題，紛紛尋求各個國家之共識。於此，英國在台貿易文化辦事處、中華經濟研究院、經濟部推動綠色貿易專案辦公室邀請韓國學者專家，將於2012年3月12日在中華經濟研究院蔣碩傑國際會議廳舉行「氣候變遷區域經濟研究(RECCS)巡迴計畫：強化亞洲氣候變遷衝擊的評估能力」國際研討會。該國際研討會主要以韓國氣候變遷之經濟分析結果為主要內容，我國相關研究案例為輔。RECCS巡迴計畫希望在亞洲參與國家間，提供服務協助亞洲國家於未來氣候變遷及風險評估研究，並強化區域網絡發展，該計畫主要內容包含：方法論以及關鍵假設等概括性研究、氣候變遷對社會經濟影響、溫室氣體排放模擬情境、各不同面向之衝擊經濟分析、調適與減緩政策在不同部門所產生之結果、溫室效應政策分析(PAGE)模型之整合分析等。(會議全程以英文進行，不提供即時翻譯服務) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Third LeeX International Conference on Theoretical and Experimental Macroeconomics
June 18-19, 2012
Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain.
The aim of this international conference is to better integrate the use of experimental and behavioral approaches into macroeconomics. The organizers invite researchers pursuing behavioral, experimental or complementary theoretical work on macroeconomic topics to submit an abstract, or preferably a completed paper by March 16, 2012.
The organizers will choose up to 13 papers from among the submitted papers and put together a two-day program of papers that will be announced April 1, 2012. Those whose papers are selected for inclusion on the program will be notified by email.

We would like to draw your attention to the International Conference on Socioeconomic Determinants and Consequences of Public Health, taking place from 26th to 27th June at Academia Sinica, Taipei. Keynote lectures will be given by: Paul Gertler (University of California, Berkeley) and Tomas Philipson University of Chicago.
The conference will bring together researchers studying the cause and effects of public health in the following areas: (1) Health and health care over the course of life; (2) Infectious diseases and socioeconomic development. Please submit your abstract by 1st March 2012 to ychi@econ.sinica.edu.tw.

Upon numerous requests, the upcoming 2012 International Conference on Systems and Informatics (ICSAI 2012) extends the submission deadline to 5 March 2012. We cordially invite you to submit a paper to ICSAI 2012 to be held from 19-21 May 2012 in Yantai, China.
ICSAI 2012 aims to be a premier international forum for scientists and researchers to present the state of the art of systems engineering and information science. Topics include (but are not limited to):

Academia Sinica and Washington University in St. Louis will jointly organize an international conference on Socioeconomic Determinants and Consequences of Public Health. We cordially invite you to submit your unpublished work for presentation at this venue. The conference will be held on 26-27 June 2012 at Academia Sinica, and will be followed by a free one-day culture tour on June 28.
The conference will bring together researchers studying the causes and effects of public health, particularly in the following areas:
• Health and health care over the course of life
• Infectious diseases and socioeconomic development
Paul Gertler (Berkeley) and Tomas Philipson (Chicago) will be our keynote speakers. Edward Lawlor (Wash U) and Chien-Jen Chen (Academia Sinica and National Taiwan University) will give opening and closing addresses. Additionally, about 12-18 international scholars are invited to speak at various organized sessions.
The culture tour will take you to National Palace Museum, which is home to many of the finest artefacts of China’s 5,000-year history. Its fine collections of Chinese arts provide an eye-opening experience of Chinese culture. In addition, we will have a briefing and Q&A session at the National Bureau of Health Care, followed by a late-afternoon tea tasting. We also recommend that you experience our famous night markets and beautiful mountains and coastlines (see http://eng.taiwan.net.tw/m1.aspx?sNo=0000203) .
During the three-day conference period, meals and transportation from and to the hotel, dinner venue and conference site will be provided. Inexpensive but comfortable campus hotel rooms (at less than $50 USD per night) will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Although registration is required, there will be no fee.
For consideration, please submit your abstract (250 words, with keywords, in PDF format), along with your title, affiliation and field of expertise (economics, public health or sociology/social work) to Ms. Yi-Shan Chi (ychi(at)econ.sinica.edu.tw) by 1March2012.In the field of economics, a draft of the paper (in PDF format) is preferred. We expect to announce the conference program by 10March2012.
