Call for Sessions and Papers for the 2014 AEA Meeting. The deadline for submissions to be considered for the January 2014 AEA Meeting program in Philadelphia is April 1, 2013 for individual papers and April 15, 2013 for complete sessions. Econ-Harmony helps prospective submitters of individual papers for the AEA Annual Meeting find others with similar interests who might join them to form a complete session submission, and provides an opportunity to volunteer as a session chair. Thirty-one percent of submitted complete sessions and 12% of submitted individual papers appeared on the 2013 Program. Econ-Harmony is available at http://www.aeaweb.org/econ-harmony/

AEAStat Call for Papers. The AEA Committee on Economic Statistics (AEAStat) will sponsor three sessions on economic measurement at the January 2014 ASSA Meetings. The Committee solicits both individual papers and proposals for sessions of three or four papers. The Committee is interested in receiving submissions in any area of economics, especially topics making use of new and unexplored datasets. One of the sessions organized by the Committee will be published in the AER Papers & Proceedings. CEE Poster Session – Call for Proposals. The Committee on Economic Education will sponsor a poster session at the 2014 ASSA Meetings devoted to active learning strategies across the economics curriculum. Presenters will prepare large visual poster summaries of their work, which are mounted in an exhibition room to allow presenters to speak directly with session attendees. The Committee on Economic Education (CEE) is sponsoring its 3rd annual conference on teaching undergraduate and graduate economics, and research on economic education at all levels (including pre-college). The conference is cosponsored by the Journal of Economic Education. It will be at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown, May 29th – May 31, 2013, with a dinner at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Plenary speakers are:

• Steven Levitt, "Thinking Like a Freakonomist in the Classroom"
• John List, "Using Field Experiments to Teaching Economics"
• Derek Neal, "The Market for Learning"
• Dan Sullivan, Director of Research at the Chicago Fed

Resources for Economics (RFE), a guide sponsored by the AEA, lists more than 2,000 resources in 97 sections available at http://www.aeaweb.org/rfe/index.php. The guide is built to be of interest to economics students at all levels, as well as to academics, practitioners, and those simply interested in economics.

EconLit for Members is a searchable bibliographic database. Compiled and abstracted in an easily searchable format, EconLit is a comprehensive index of journal articles, books, book reviews, collective volume articles, working papers and dissertations. It contains all the Econlit records, but does not link to full-text journal articles and books available on library and institutional installations. U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is requesting your help on the Producer Price Index (PPI) program. The PPI is surveying current and potential data users in order to improve their datasets. The survey takes only a few minutes and the confidential responses will help the Bureau to better understand their customers and meet their needs. The Research Master in Neuroeconomics at Maastricht University is a two-year, selective, internationally oriented and English taught program designed for excellent students who wish to continue their graduate studies in preparation for a career in research.

The Research Master in Neuroeconomics is a truly interdisciplinary endeavor and jointly organized by the Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience (FPN) and the Economics Departments of the School of Business and Economics (SBE). Students will follow courses at SBE as well as FPN and will receive an in-depth training in quantitative theoretical and empirical methods in economics, game theory, and cognitive neuroscience as well as extensive hands-on training in all aspects of experimental and neuroimaging research. The program combines methodological training with theoretical and experimental approaches from economics, psychology, and neuroscience to study human decisions in all its aspects.

Excellent research internship opportunities will be offered at Maastricht University as well as at prestigious universities and institutions in Europe and North-America.
